Short term studio in China: Nov 1st, 2009 to Jan 1st, 2010           

Long term studio in China: Nov 1st, 2009 to Sep 1st, 2010

Work will involve:

Conceptual design, City plan, Site analyse, Environment and climate analyse, Site plan, Conceptual building design, building plan, building elevation, building section. Specific location plan, elevation, section, detail drawing.

Challenge:

After the Wenchuan earthquake on May, 2008, half of the village was destroyed. The Department of planning of Wenchuan district start seeking new ideas to rebuild the village. Designers should carefully consider how to transform the disaster into opportunities both in the aspects of truism and further development.
